CR Black Buttons has been nationally advertised and promoted. He is homozygous for the tobiano gene and is a proven color producer. He has sired a lot of size and quality in his 158 APHA foals in the past, with some of his offspring standing 16.2 hands! His foals have excelled in halter and performance events, and have been money earners in numerous futurities. His sire, MKS Black Pepper, was an APHA CHampion producer and also produced many show ROM and halter point earners. His dam, Miss Bonanza Zip, was a Supreme Bonanza, Q Ton Ace H and Q Ton Eagle bred mare. Her sire, Bunyon Bonanza Bar, was a Reserve World Champion in 1998.
